Athens Music Week (AMW) is back for its 7th edition from May 7 to 10, 2025. This event invites new and emerging artists to take part in Greece’s premier music industry gathering. If you’re ready to showcase your talent, the Open Call is live!
A Platform for New Talent
Athens Music Week is a vibrant celebration of music, featuring live concerts, panel discussions, workshops, and parallel events in Athens’ city center. The event is a great opportunity for artists to perform in front of industry experts, including managers, promoters, bookers, and A&R representatives from Greece and abroad.
The Open Call for Showcases is open to solo artists and bands over 18 years old, representing any genre of music. Selected acts will perform 30-minute showcases, benefiting from a professional stage, backline equipment, and accreditation for all event days. Artists traveling more than 200 km will also receive accommodation support.
A Carefully Curated Selection
An artistic board of professionals from the Greek and international music scenes will evaluate the submissions. This ensures a high-quality program with artists who have strong potential for growth.
Key members from Greece include representatives from Stay Independent, Athens Jazz Festival, Made of Stone Productions, and more. International experts from major events like Glastonbury, Eurosonic Noorderslag, and the EXIT Festival will also contribute.
The goal is to foster collaboration between domestic and global music markets, offering a platform for Greek talents with export potential and introducing outstanding international acts to local audiences.
