New Faces 2025 program is now accepting nominations for its third edition. This initiative aims to highlight and support ten promising young professionals under 30 who are actively shaping the regional music industry in the Balkans.
Expanding the Program’s Reach
For the first time, New Faces includes Bulgaria through the SoAlive Music Conference & Festival. This alongside established partners like: MENT Ljubljana (Slovenia), Kontakt (Serbia), SHIP (Croatia), PIN Music Conference (North Macedonia).
By expanding to include Bulgaria, the program strengthens collaboration within the Balkans, thus creating new opportunities for growth and exchange in the music sector.
Who Are the New Faces?
New Faces focuses on behind-the-scenes professionals in the music industry. The program recognizes individuals involved in areas such as event organizers, booking and artist managers, music journalists, publishing and production.
The initiative is not aimed at musicians but at the professionals who contribute to building an exciting and sustainable music industry.
What Does the Program Offer?
The ten selected participants will receive:
- PRO Passes to four major music festivals and conferences, providing access to concerts, panels, and networking events.
- Coverage of accommodation expenses in host countries.
- Media exposure to elevate their visibility in the industry.
- Opportunities to connect with key professionals and organizations in the region and beyond.
These benefits are designed to equip participants with the tools and connections needed to grow their careers and contribute to the regional music scene.
How to Apply
Nominations are open until December 10, 2024. Applications can be submitted by the nominees themselves or by others who recognize their contributions. However, nominees must be under 30 in 2025 and actively working in non-performance roles within the music industry.

Building Regional Connections
Since its launch, New Faces has helped connect young professionals with opportunities across Europe. Participants from previous editions have attended international events such as Most Wanted: Music in Berlin and the SPOT Festival in Denmark.
