Course in Music Production led by Lora Grigorova from Wakan Tanka Prod is an educational initiative starting this spring in Malmö. This 9-week program offers a practical introduction to the world of digital music creation. It is hosted in collaboration with Bilda and is specifically designed for those who want to learn how to produce their own tracks from scratch.
About the Instructor
Lora Grigorova is a music artist, DJ, and the producer manager at Wakan Tanka Prod. She has extensive experience in the music industry, working with world music fusions and artist management. Lora also develops her own creative vision through her music project, Super Muñeca. Her background in both the technical and creative aspects of music makes her an ideal guide for new producers.
Learning the Basics with Ableton Live
The course focuses on Ableton Live, one of the industry’s most powerful Digital Audio Workstations (DAW). Participants will learn the core functions of this software through hands-on experience. The goal is to make music production accessible to everyone, regardless of their previous technical knowledge.
During the sessions, students will explore the vast ocean of music production. You will discover how to navigate a professional DAW and understand the tools that producers use every day to create the hits you hear on Spotify.
What You Will Learn
The curriculum covers all the essential steps to create a solid musical foundation. Each week, the course dives into a different aspect of the production process:
